Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas has announced the arrival of another strategic partner for the remainder of its season and for medium-term projects. The institution confirmed an agreement with UniCesumar, which will stamp its brand on uniforms of different categories of the club. The contract involves professional and grassroots women's football teams, as well as male formations in the Sub-20, Sub-17, and Sub-15 categories, with a term until the end of 2026. The brand's presence will be displayed on the upper back of the alvinegra jersey, expanding the club's commercial portfolio and reinforcing the SAF's strategy to strengthen not only the main squad but also the formative categories. And the agreement provides that players and collaborators linked to the SAF can enroll in undergraduate, graduate, technical programs, and professional training courses offered by the institution through the Educa Esporte program. Marcelo Furtado, commercial director of Botafogo, highlighted the scope of the agreement and the impact that the partnership can generate. According to him, the club values the possibility of combining sports and education within a structured project. So the partnership also includes communication and relationship actions with fans, including activations throughout the season and initiatives aimed at members of the Camisa 7 program. But the internal expectation is that the union will strengthen the bond between the club, the fans, and the academic community. José Henrique Saviani, director of Institutional Relations at UniCesumar, emphasized that the partnership reinforces the intention to expand its presence in sports, especially in women's football and grassroots. UniCesumar has a community of over 400,000 students and offers over 350 courses in different levels of training. The institution has a wide range of distance learning structures, with poles distributed throughout the country and international units. Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas seeks to consolidate a model that combines sports performance with human development. The partnership represents an important step in building opportunities inside and outside the field, combining the reach of football with academic training. The expectation of both parties is that the partnership will be a success and bring benefits to both.
